Role Overview
As a Technical Product Manager at Faro Health, you will serve as the bridge between our customers, partners, and engineering teams. You’ll own Faro’s platform and integration strategy, driving scalable architecture, reliable data exchange, and interoperable solutions that connect clinical systems and power intelligent trial design.
You will translate complex customer and partner technical requirements into clear engineering deliverables, define integration roadmaps, and ensure that Faro’s platform and data services enable seamless, secure, and compliant collaboration across the clinical trial ecosystem.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Own Faro’s platform and integration strategy: Define and execute a roadmap for integrations that strengthen the scalability and interoperability of the Faro platform.
- Translate technical requirements: Work closely with customers, partners, and engineers to transform clinical and operational needs into detailed product and integration specifications.
- Act as a solution consultant: Roll up your sleeves to design, prototype, and validate integration solutions, using Python, APIs, and other technical tools to investigate problems and validate data flows.
- Drive end-to-end integration lifecycle: From discovery to design, testing, and launch, ensure integrations deliver measurable value, reliability, and compliance.
- Enable AI integrations: Define requirements for connecting Faro’s AI capabilities with customer systems, external data sources, and tools through APIs and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Define reusable AI workflows: Partner with Engineering and Data Science to establish tool interfaces, structured inputs and outputs, data contracts, error handling, and human approval steps for AI agents.
- Support secure and traceable AI interactions: Define requirements for authentication, authorization, source traceability, and auditability when AI applications retrieve information or execute actions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Data Science, Engineering, Product Design, and Customer Strategy to build and execute end-to-end strategies for customers, ensuring alignment and scalability across the Faro platform.
- Platform enablement: Define standards, documentation, and tools that make it easier for internal teams and external partners to build on Faro’s platform.
- Ecosystem development: Evaluate and prioritize integrations that enhance connectivity and data flow across clinical trial systems, distinguishing customer-specific requests from reusable platform opportunities.
- Measure success: Define KPIs for platform performance, integration reliability, adoption, and ecosystem growth, as well as AI workflow task completion, tool execution reliability, latency, and cost.
- Stay ahead of standards: Track industry interoperability standards such as CDISC, HL7 FHIR, and ODM, alongside emerging AI integration protocols, and assess their relevance to Faro’s platform roadmap.
- Available to work East Coast hours occasionally to accommodate customers in Europe and Asia.
