About Nurra
Nurra supports patients with complex healthcare needs through compassionate, personalized care coordination. We combine meaningful human connections with innovative technology to help patients feel supported, informed, and empowered to manage their health.
Through our Chronic Care Management (CCM) program, we partner with patients and their healthcare providers to coordinate care, address barriers, and help patients stay connected to the support they need between doctor visits.
About the Role
We’re looking for an Outreach & Enrollment Specialist who is passionate about connecting with patients and excited to help build and improve our outreach and enrollment operations as Nurra grows.
This is a hands-on role that combines direct patient outreach with strategic thinking and process improvement. You’ll introduce eligible patients to Nurra’s CCM program, guide them through enrollment, and help create an experience that is welcoming, efficient, and patient-centered.
Beyond day-to-day outreach, you’ll play an important role in shaping how our enrollment function operates. We’re looking for someone who is proactive, tech-savvy, and comfortable identifying opportunities to improve workflows, leverage automation, and scale operations without losing the personal touch that makes patient care meaningful.
This position is primarily remote, with occasional travel to support in-person enrollment during new clinic launches, anticipated to total a few weeks per year.
What You’ll Do
Patient Outreach & Enrollment
Connect with eligible patients by phone and text to introduce Nurra’s CCM program, answer questions, and guide them through enrollment.
Build trust with patients through warm, compassionate communication, especially when navigating concerns, hesitations, or complex healthcare needs.
Follow up consistently with prospective patients to support enrollment and ensure a positive experience.
Collaborate with clinic teams to strengthen patient outreach and enrollment efforts.
Strategy & Process Improvement
Help develop, refine, and standardize outreach workflows, scripts, and enrollment processes.
Track outreach activity, patient engagement, conversion rates, and enrollment outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement.
Identify barriers to enrollment and recommend practical solutions to improve efficiency and patient experience.
Partner with leadership to help shape outreach strategies as Nurra expands to new clinics and patient populations.
Technology & Operational Growth
Explore opportunities to use technology and automation to make outreach more efficient while maintaining a patient-first approach.
Help test and improve technology-assisted enrollment workflows, including identifying when patients need direct human support.
Provide feedback on tools and systems to improve team productivity, documentation, and follow-up processes.
Contribute to building a scalable, organized, and effective enrollment operation.
Clinic Partnerships
Develop positive working relationships with clinic staff to support outreach and enrollment.
Occasionally travel to new clinic locations to support in-person patient enrollment and clinic launches.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in healthcare outreach, patient enrollment, care coordination, patient navigation, or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine ability to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds.
A compassionate, patient-centered approach and sound judgment when navigating sensitive conversations.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage outreach activity, follow-ups, and competing priorities independently.
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with an interest in improving processes rather than simply following existing ones.
Comfort using technology, learning new systems, and interpreting performance data to drive improvements.
The ability to balance hands-on patient outreach with strategic initiatives and longer-term operational goals.
Willingness to travel occasionally, approximately a few weeks per year.
Especially Valuable
Experience developing or improving patient outreach or enrollment workflows.
Familiarity with Chronic Care Management (CCM) programs or other healthcare engagement services.
Experience using CRM platforms, outreach tools, or automated communication systems.
Experience improving enrollment conversion rates or scaling outreach operations.
An interest in healthcare technology and using AI or automation to improve operational efficiency.
Above all, we’re looking for someone who takes ownership, genuinely cares about the patient experience, and is excited to help build something better as we grow.
