About the Role

Join Forma’s compact yet insightful design team, dedicated to creating intuitive and delightful experiences for life benefits. Your role will be crucial in simplifying the complex benefits industry for our 1M+ members, helping them to utilize their Life Savings Account (LSA), Pre-tax, Rewards & Recognition benefits, among others. We’re seeking an experienced and passionate professional to join our mission.

You have the expertise to develop holistic products and plan the launch of enjoyable experiences that people will love. You likely enjoy top-notch storytelling, branding, and marketing strategies, which are integral to a good product. Join us in creating innovative ways for users to understand and utilize benefits tailored to their lives.

What you’ll do:
  • Establish the strategic direction and product vision for our most complex problems, including the future of our product look and feel/design language and bridging the gap between vision and execution.

  • Be at the forefront of major design initiatives and broadcast the efforts of the design team across Forma

  • Execute research initiatives to understand our users, their needs and pain-points across Forma products.

  • Set and refine the design quality bar, in partnership with design leadership, through our principles and design system.

  • Exhibits meticulous attention to detail, ensuring exceptional user experiences

  • Contributes and strategizes executable plans and roadmap aligned with company objectives

  • Be responsible for mentoring and helping grow talent within the team.

What we are looking  for:
  • Demonstrates innate curiosity and a data-driven mindset; thrives in a dynamic, startup environment

  • You roll up your sleeves and work alongside with your team to unlock the best member experience for Forma 

  • As a design lead, you’ll architect strategic product features, harnessing your design expertise and strategic thinking.

  • Proven track record of delivering ambitious products on time and within organizational goals

  • Leads large scale projects, managing uncertainty and ambiguity, ensuring we’re shipping quality experiences

  • A mentor who gets energized and excited by growing others’ careers , inspiring the team, and promoting a collaborative culture within the design team.

  • You are an excellent storyteller, building trust and fostering alignment across product, engineering, customer success, support, operations, and sales teams.

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience shipping digital products, experiences and systems

  • Experience in financial, benefits, or SaaS is a plus
