We are hiring a Senior Customer Marketing Manager to join our team at Spare!
As a Senior Customer Marketing Manager at Spare, you will play a key role in driving customer loyalty, retention, and advocacy by developing and managing innovative marketing programs.
This role focuses on crafting strategies that enhance the customer experience and showcase the transformative value Spare brings to transit agencies. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams to design and execute campaigns, develop content, and foster long-term customer relationships.

Your work will directly influence the quality and efficiency of public transportation services, making them more inclusive and sustainable. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape this role from the ground up!
Our Spare headquarters is located in Vancouver, BC, but this position is open to remote work options within Canada and USA.
About the role
- Customer campaigns
Design and implement marketing campaigns that drive customer retention and growth. Collaborate with Account Managers to identify opportunities for segmentation and personalization to enhance engagement. - Customer content
Develop case studies, newsletters, service updates, and other content that reflect the impact of Spare’s solutions and help customers communicate their success. Work closely with Product Marketing and Customer Success to identify key opportunities for storytelling and distribute content across appropriate channels. - Customer engagement programs
Create and manage programs aimed at increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty, ensuring alignment with business goals. Support agencies by providing rider marketing strategies that promote the adoption of Spare services in their communities. Monitor and adjust programs based on performance data and customer feedback.
About You
- Experience working in Marketing for the public transit industry
- Senior experience in Marketing for SaaS (ideally 5+ years)
- Experience in content creation
- Experience coordinating events (remote and in-person)
- Experience interacting 1:1 with customers in the public sector
- Experience with marketing automation software (like Hubspot, Salesforce or others)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
It will be considered a plus:
- Proficiency in French and/or Spanish
- Degree or certification in a relevant field
