The Role:
We are looking for a self-driven Director of Product to set the vision, strategy, and manage the delivery of outcomes for our core point-earning mechanics in the shopping journey, including Offers, Boosts and new Shopper experiences that are central to our primary habit loop. You will lead and collaborate with multiple highly-technical, cross-functional teams by defining the product strategy and co-collaborating on technical strategies to achieve your Collective as well as Company goals. You will manage and grow a team of Product Leads, providing high-level guidance to their scoped areas while also directly driving areas of your own as needed. Ultimately, you will help Fetch users Live Rewarded through a variety of Shopping experiences that span grocery, retail, restaurant, fuel/convenience and more.
- Experienced product leader with a track record of designing innovative products and experiences, launching software quickly with high quality, measuring results and achieving business outcomes
- Experienced technical leader, having led complex software projects, (experience with ML is a bonus!), that pertain to shopper loyalty programs, product catalogs and merchandising, ecommerce basket building, and affiliate programs.
- Experienced manager of high performing product and technology individuals and teams and a desire to mentor, guide and coach
- Hypothesis and data-driven to inform priorities and decision making, conceive experiments, measure outcomes and improve understanding around consumer focused experiences
- An effective communicator and collaborator including with engineering, Design/UX, analytics, operational departments and external partners where necessary
- Able to thrive in uncertainty and comfortable with a high degree of ownership and bias for action; you’re a driver rather than a passenger
- Takes charge and steers the ship by defining your vision, not simply executing previously set priorities
- Set the mission, vision, and strategy for your initiatives, and collaborate cross-functionally to align stakeholders
- Immerse yourself in the Fetch consumer and partner needs and become an expert in your subject area
- Use a combination of product instincts and data to drive decisions and results
- Collaborate with Backend and Data science leaders on strategies to drive Fetch toward high performing and outcome driven systems for our shopping focused point earning mechanics
- Collaborate with product and software engineering leaders to define, execute and launch innovative product enhancements
- Consistently demonstrate clear improvements to user, partner, and business metrics
- Drive initiatives to elevate the abilities of our product, team, and the overall company
- Attract and retain top talent to grow your team
