Develop and articulate a comprehensive corporate marketing strategy aligned with the overall business goals and objectives.
Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate corporate marketing efforts into the company’s overall strategic initiatives.
Measurement and ROI mindset critical for success of any function within marketing
In partnership with the VP of Product Marketing and VP of Comms on the evolution of our market positioning, leveraging the company’s strong portfolio, satisfied customer base, and high growth trajectory to drive brand preference.
Work closely with the CEO, estaff, the leadership team and corporate communications team to refine and amplify our corp positioning to reflect the true essence of Five9 and differentiate us in the market.
Brand Development and Management:
Manage and enhance the company’s brand image, to make it bold, and ensure consistency across all communication channels.
Oversee the development and implementation of brand positioning strategies to differentiate the company in the market.
Take charge of brand marketing efforts to strengthen our brand presence, improve SEO, and make Five9 memorable to drive demand.
Management of the creative services team to execute against the brand strategy.
Amplify the brand by being responsible for the Five9 organic social program.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adapt and evolve the brand strategy accordingly.
Develop and execute comprehensive brand and demand campaigns that fuel the marketing funnel.
Harness the power of customer testimonials and advocacy to create compelling narratives that resonate with our target audience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns are aligned with overall marketing and business objectives.
Drive the digital marketing strategy, leveraging technology, data analytics and benchmarking to optimize campaign performance.
Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in digital marketing to maintain a competitive edge.
Oversee the implementation of marketing automation tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Establish a holistic event strategy that is fully integrated with our overall marketing efforts, leveraging events as a strategic touchpoint in the customer journey.
Ensure synergy between corporate, owned and industry events, demand generation, brand marketing, and integrated campaigns to maximize impact and ROI.
Drive innovation in virtual and in-person events, creating memorable experiences that align with our brand and business goals.
Team Leadership and Development:
Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities for team members.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and enhance the team’s performance.
Education / Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing / Business or related communications field.
Master’s Degree in Business Administration preferred.
Location: This role is fully remote for candidates who reside at least 50 miles away from our San Francisco or San Ramon office locations. For candidates who reside within 50 miles of our San Francisco or San Ramon locations, this role will be Hybrid.

Additionally, the total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
