Role Description

This role involves leading the front-end client and back-end services teams as a Senior Engineering Manager.

  • Work with junior and senior engineers within your team and throughout engineering.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in product, design, and data.
  • Own project management and execution, from discovery to shipping solutions.
  • Drive development across multiple product feature teams for desktop and mobile.
  • Support and mentor your team in tackling product-driven challenges and technical problems.
  • Manage sprint ceremonies, guide technical decisions, and empower team members.
  • Hire and retain top talent to ensure team success.
  • Define engineering processes and organizational theory within the company.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of experience leading front-end client and back-end services teams.
  • Experience as a people manager in a 100% remote environment.
  • Meticulous project management skills.
  • Substantial experience with experimentation and design.
  • Track record of collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excitement for leading a team to deliver business value across all front-end channels.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, GraphQL, Elixir, CircleCI, GitHub.
