Sr. Growth Marketing Manager

As the Senior Growth Marketing Manager at Koala, you will be leading our small marketing team and play a pivotal role in driving our customer acquisition strategy across all business verticals. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for planning and executing data-driven campaigns that fuel rapid growth, with a primary focus on our B2B2C vertical. Your expertise in lifecycle marketing, particularly within platforms like Braze, and your ability to activate and engage B2B2C audiences, will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you’ll manage and optimize paid media efforts for our DTC channels, ensuring that our marketing initiatives are both strategic and hands-on.
What You’ll Do:
  • Drive Multi-Channel Marketing Strategy: Collaborate closely with the CEO, sales team, other marketing members, and cross-functional partners to lead and execute data-driven customer acquisition campaigns across B2B2C and DTC channels.
  • B2B2C Growth: Develop and manage a comprehensive email marketing strategy in Braze, ensuring consistent optimization and hands-on execution to drive partner order volume. Unlock new channel opportunities, optimize promotion strategies, and maintain brand standards. Analyze and report on performance, consistently refining approaches to enhance results.
  • Innovation & Testing: Continuously explore and test new channels, strategies, and tactics to drive growth.Develop and execute roadmaps for all key channels that enhance revenue performance and deliver competitive advantages.
  • Creative Leadership: Push Koala’s creative forward by overseeing creative briefs and ensuring best practices are utilized to produce top-tier, engaging content.Be audience-obsessed, driving segmentation strategies to surprise and delight our customers.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Product and Operations teams to optimize business outcomes and exceed growth targets.
  • DTC Marketing: Lead the strategy and management of our paid media efforts across various channels, driving efficiency. Partner with our performance marketing agency to ensure pacing, performance, and scaling opportunities are fully leveraged.
  • What You’ll Need:
  • 6+ years of experience in a consumer marketing role with 2+ years experience managing a team 
  • Deep lifecycle marketing experience, preferably with platforms like Braze, and a strong understanding of activating B2B2C audiences.
  • Expertise in managing and optimizing paid media channels, with hands-on experience in at least one major channel (search, social, programmatic).
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments, and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to distill complex data into actionable insights and communicate them effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
  • BA degree or equivalent experience required.
