Role Description
This role involves leading the evolution of our Salesforce-based wealth platform as a Senior Salesforce Product Owner for Wealth Management. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands financial planning workflows, and translates business needs into technical execution.
- Maximize value delivered by the team by aligning the team backlog with customer and stakeholder needs.
- Serve as the primary customer advocate and liaison between internal stakeholders and development teams.
- Work closely with Wealth Management stakeholders to understand advisor pain points and align product direction with business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across compliance, finance, operations, marketing, and technology.
Success in this role hinges on your ability to:
- Lead requirements gathering through advisor interviews, process analysis, and data insights.
- Manage demanding stakeholders with empathy and clarity.
- Drive roadmap planning and backlog prioritization using KPIs, user feedback, and business impact.
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Own product backlog and feature prioritization.
- Define and prioritize user stories, manage the product backlog, and lead agile ceremonies as needed.
- Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies, including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives.
- Assist with communicating the vision and roadmap during PI Planning.
- Communicate product vision, progress, and risks to stakeholders at all levels.
- Conduct discovery through advisor interviews, data analysis, and process mapping.
- Assist in meeting coordination, notes, documentation, follow-ups, summaries, and action items.
- Collaborate with development, finance, compliance, operations, and advisor teams.
- Enforce data integrity and platform security standards.
- Monitor product performance and usage metrics.
- Define CRM product needs and ensure delivery of value.
- Develop and track KPIs for platform adoption, advisor engagement, and client outcomes.
- Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring customer needs and feedback are incorporated into the product development process.
- Prepare mockups and document product standards for the team and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in product management or product ownership in financial services or wealth management.
- Strong experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud; experience with Experience Cloud is a plus.
- Extremely driven, with a passion for process and efficiency.
- Proven ability to manage demanding stakeholders and balance competing priorities.
- Skilled in requirements gathering, process analysis, and translating insights into actionable product features.
- Ability to manage work on multiple projects with competing priorities.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies; certifications like CSPO, POPM, or SAFe is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle.
- Knowledge of Salesforce, ADO, and Agile methodology.
