We need a senior backend developer, highly skilled in .NET and databases. Help us maintain and grow ESP-x, our mainline product! We seek people who are enthusiastic about code quality, helping teams grow, and nurturing more junior developers.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and maintain a world-class renewable energy management system, handling tens of gigawatts of power worldwide.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize and scale our backend infrastructure to handle increasing demand.
- Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of our applications.
- Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
About You
- You have proven experience as a Backend Engineer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- You are highly skilled in .NET and database management.
- You have a strong understanding of database management (SQL and NoSQL).
- You have experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- You are familiar with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- You have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- You can work independently and as part of a team.
- You have a 4-hour overlap with CET/CEST time zones as our teams are globally distributed.
