Our mission
At Mimo, we believe that coding can open doors to careers and opportunities like few other skills. We aim to provide the most accessible and enjoyable way to learn to code while providing our learners the tools to become creators on our platform.
About the team
We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team to achieve our ambitious goals for our web-based product. In this position, you will be responsible for developing strategies to improve our brand awareness online, drive traffic to the website, and launch and optimize paid advertising channels to contribute to our revenue goals for the web product.
What you’ll do
- You’ll optimize our website to achieve higher rankings in search engine results pages (SERPs) and drive organic traffic, overseeing and outsourcing the content creation process.
- You’ll make data-driven and research-driven decisions and optimize acquisition channels for lower CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost).
- You’ll work on initiatives to optimize the rest of the funnel, like landing pages, onboarding flows, or creating lead magnets.
- You’ll identify and tinker with new channels to discover additional growth opportunities for Mimo’s web platform.
You’ll thrive in this role if
- You’re an experienced digital marketeer. You bring 5+ years of experience growing web-based products through organic user acquisition (SEO) and paid advertising.
- You’ll set us apart from the competition. You understand what it takes to excite and engage potential users on the web with paid ads (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Reddit).
- You’re wrapped up in the importance of conversion. You have a proven track record of successfully creating and optimizing (CRO) landing pages and lead magnets.
- You have a knack for analyzing data. You blend quantitative and qualitative insights from product analytics tools (like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, PostHog, or others) and user research to inform your decisions and develop hypotheses.
- You’re great with people. You can break down silos and engage cross-functional teams, including working with product, development, customer support, and design.
How we work
- We’re a distributed team that collaborates between Eastern Standard Time (UTC -6) and Eastern European Time (UTC +2) time zones.
- If you’re outside this time zone range and want to move to the company’s official headquarters in Austria, we’ll handle the work permit process and cover travel expenses.
- If you prefer to work outside your home, we offer a physical location in Vienna and co-working stipends in other cities.
- We love working async so that you can set your own pace and schedule.
Our global perks and benefits
- We have a remote-first mentality and give everyone a home-office budget.
- 25 days of paid vacation in addition to your regional public holidays and paid sick leave.
- We sponsor team retreats throughout Europe and remote-friendly activities, like hack weeks and coffee breaks.
- To further develop yourself, use our €1k growth budget for books, online courses, conferences, or anything else that supports your development.
- To give our menstruating team members the time off to cater to their health when needed during their menstrual cycle, we offer up to 2 days of paid menstrual leave per month.
- Your annual salary will range from €68k to €80k gross annually. It will automatically increase by at least 5% every year, no questions asked.
- The chance to build a world-class product, positively impact millions of aspiring developers, and be a virtual owner of the company with equity (phantom stock).
