Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Content Manager to lead our SEO-driven content initiatives. This role will be pivotal in crafting and executing a content strategy that boosts our online presence, drives organic traffic, and enhances customer engagement. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven professional with a proven track record in SEO content creation, optimization, proofing, and management. 
This position requires someone who can operationalize an SEO-first content machine—establishing scalable processes for content creation, optimization, and distribution. You will be responsible for building a robust content pipeline that ensures a steady flow of high-quality, SEO-optimized content. Additionally, maintaining and updating existing content to ensure it remains relevant and effective is a significant part of the role.

What You’ll Do
  • Co-create a comprehensive content strategy with Director of SEO – aligning with business goals across VPS to build a strong organic channel. 
  • Operationalize the strategy via a content calendar (Monday.com board) and manage the production of our writers to ensure we are executing on the necessary steps for the strategy.  
  • Conduct keyword research to identify high-opportunity topics and search queries.
  • Collaborate with the Director of SEO to integrate best practices across all content channels.
  • Oversee the production of high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content including blog posts, articles, landing pages, emails, and multimedia.
  • Ensure content follows the prescribed SEO template provided by Director of SEO. 
  • Implement and manage content deadlines to ensure consistent and timely publication on the content calendar board (Monday.com). 
  • Work closely with Sr. Graphic Designer to ensure all content has the appropriate, engaging graphics for each audience. 
  • Monitor and analyze content performance using Matomo and PowerBI.
  • Utilize Matomo to track website traffic, user behavior, and conversion rates to assess the impact of our organic strategy.
  • Leverage PowerBI to create detailed reports and visualizations that provide insights into content effectiveness, including traffic, engagement, and conversion metrics.
  • Provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
  • Use data insights to refine and enhance content strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Lead a team of contract writers to produce high-impact, SEO-optimized content.
  • Foster a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and sales to ensure content supports overall business objectives.
  • Provide training and guidance to content writers on SEO best practices and content optimization techniques
  • Keep abreast of the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and industry developments around AI.
  • Experiment with new content formats and SEO strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
  • What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing. 
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research tools, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
  • Proven ability to create and optimize content that drives organic traffic and improves search rankings.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
