Video Editor (ENG)

The Video Editor is responsible for managing and producing video content based on assigned projects, client needs, and creative direction. This role requires strong attention to detail, creativity, organization, and the ability to manage multiple video projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.

The Video Editor will work closely with Project Managers, Account Managers, and other team members to prioritize projects, complete video edits, organize project files, and ensure final deliverables are properly submitted.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and organize assigned tasks for the day based on project priorities and deadlines.
  • Communicate with the Project Manager, Account Manager, or appropriate team member to confirm which client account or project should be prioritized.
  • Review project documents, instructions, references, and other materials needed to complete assigned video projects.
  • Download and organize raw video files and other required assets.
  • Edit video content according to project requirements, creative direction, and established quality standards.
  • Manage video editing projects throughout the day while maintaining productivity and meeting deadlines.
  • Upload completed video files and deliverables to the appropriate Google Drive folders.
  • Submit completed projects to the designated Pod, Project Manager, or appropriate team member for review.
  • Update the Monday.com board to accurately reflect project status, progress, and completion.
  • Communicate with colleagues regarding previously completed projects, feedback, and opportunities to improve or elevate future content.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify creative ideas, improvements, and new content opportunities for upcoming projects and monthly initiatives.
  • Maintain organized project files and follow established workflows for naming, storing, and submitting video assets.
  • Make revisions or adjustments based on feedback and project requirements when needed.

Requirements

  • Experience with professional video editing and content creation.
  • Strong attention to detail and visual quality.
  • Ability to follow creative direction and project guidelines.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • Comfortable working independently while communicating proactively with team members.
  • Familiarity with Google Drive and project management platforms such as Monday.com.
  • Creative mindset with an interest in improving existing content and developing new ideas.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to receive and implement feedback.
  • Willingness to work in US time zones (PST, EST, CST).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

System and Work Setup Requirements

  • A stable and high-speed internet connection preferably 25 MBPS or higher with backup in cases of power interruption or service provider issues.
  • Own PC/laptop with 8GB RAM, and a processor of Core i5 / AMD Ryzen 3 / 2013 Mac equivalent or higher; Windows 10 or above / Catalina 10.15 or newer; with up-to-date web browsers, and security software, 500GB/128 SSD storage
  • Headset/earphone with noise cancellation and webcam at 720p or higher resolution
  • A designated, quiet, and well-organized workspace free from distractions to facilitate focused work
