Tech Lead / Senior Developer (70% .NET + 30% React) [o385p]

We’re looking for a Tech Lead / Senior Developer (70% .NET + 30% React) to join the Next Generation Audit (NGA) platform. You’ll work on a modern, scalable stack with a strong emphasis on code quality, microservices architecture, and AI-driven development.

Next Generation Audit is a global audit platform delivered through agile value streams. You will lead a pod responsible for critical product areas like data catalogues or audit-item templates, ensuring high-impact delivery on a platform running entirely on Microsoft Azure.

About the Role
As the technical voice of your pod, you will balance hands-on production coding with high-level architectural decisions. You will partner with Product Owners and QA to clarify requirements, manage technical debt, and mentor engineers while maintaining a strong overlap with US-based stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build scalable changes across the pod’s services and micro-frontends, ensuring architectural consistency and security.
• Lead the AI integration strategy by setting how the pod utilizes tools like Cursor and Claude, ensuring human-in-the-loop validation for all code.
• Drive quality by reviewing pull requests, enforcing Clean Architecture, and ensuring no generated code is merged without thorough testing.
• Collaborate with QA early in the lifecycle to define acceptance checks and support developers in writing robust Playwright integration tests.
• Manage delivery risks by identifying dependencies, clarifying thin requirements, and ensuring predictable releases across environments.
• Mentor and onboard new teammates, fostering a culture of ownership, technical excellence, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in C#/.NET and React/TypeScript within microservices environments.
• Proven track record of leading technical pods and making high-stakes design and release decisions.
• Deep familiarity with Microsoft Azure services, including AKS and Service Bus.
• Expertise in modern API versioning, feature flagging with LaunchDarkly, and event-driven patterns.
• Daily proficiency with AI coding assistants and a habit of rigorous output review.
• Excellent English communication skills for explaining complex trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
