About Marmeto
At Marmeto, we’re building a portfolio of SaaS products that solve real problems for businesses.
Our products serve merchants, agencies, developers, and businesses across the commerce ecosystem.
We’re building a centralized demand generation engine that can help multiple SaaS products grow without requiring separate marketing teams for every product.
We’re looking for someone who understands how organic growth actually works and wants to build something from the ground up.
About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on SEO & Content Strategist who can take ownership of organic discovery and content strategy across our SaaS products.
Your job isn’t simply to increase website traffic or improve keyword rankings. Your job is to help potential customers discover our products when they’re actively looking for solutions.
You’ll work directly with the founder to build a repeatable, measurable content-led growth engine.
This is an execution-heavy role with significant ownership. You’ll be expected to research opportunities, make decisions, execute SEO initiatives, and continuously improve results.
What you'll own
SEO & Organic Growth Strategy
- Develop and execute organic search strategies for multiple SaaS products.
- Identify high-intent keywords and commercially valuable search opportunities.
- Conduct competitor research, keyword gap analysis, and SERP analysis.
- Build topic clusters and content roadmaps.
- Prioritize opportunities based on business potential, search demand, and ranking difficulty.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing product pages and landing pages.
Content Strategy & Planning
- Build and maintain an editorial calendar across products.
- Decide which topics deserve content and why.
- Create detailed briefs for writers, including search intent, structure, key questions, references, and internal linking opportunities.
- Work closely with content writers to ensure articles satisfy search intent.
- Identify opportunities for tutorials, comparison articles, alternative pages, and educational content.
- Ensure content naturally connects customer problems with relevant product capabilities.
Technical & On-Page SEO
- Conduct technical SEO audits and identify crawlability, indexing, and site architecture issues.
- Optimize titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, and internal linking.
- Understand structured data, canonicalization, redirects, and XML sitemaps.
- Monitor Core Web Vitals and technical search performance.
- Work with engineering teams to implement technical improvements.
- Maintain SEO quality standards across multiple product websites.
AI Search & Emerging Discovery Channels
- Understand how AI-powered search experiences are changing software discovery.
- Research opportunities to improve visibility across Google AI search experiences, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other relevant discovery channels.
- Ensure content is structured, accurate, accessible, and useful for both traditional search engines and AI-assisted discovery.
- Experiment with AI visibility measurement while recognizing the limitations of available tools.
- Evaluate emerging SEO tools based on practical usefulness and measurable outcomes.
Analytics & Performance
- Monitor organic impressions, rankings, clicks, and qualified traffic.
- Track how organic visitors progress toward signups, installations, and product activation.
- Identify content that needs improvement, consolidation, or refreshing.
- Build simple, actionable weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Use performance data to continuously refine content priorities.
- Focus on business outcomes rather than vanity metrics.
Tools, Processes & Automation
- Establish repeatable workflows for research, content planning, optimization, and reporting.
- Use AI tools to accelerate research and repetitive tasks without compromising accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for practical automation.
- Work with writers, designers, and engineers to improve content production efficiency.
- Help build a scalable organic growth process that can support new SaaS products as Marmeto expands.
What We're Looking For
You might be a fit if:
- You have 3–6 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably with SaaS or technology products.
- You have demonstrated experience improving organic acquisition through SEO and content.
- You have a strong understanding of keyword research, search intent, and competitor analysis.
- You have experience developing and executing content strategies.
- You have practical technical SEO knowledge.
- You are proficient with Google Search Console, GA4, and Ahrefs or Semrush.
- You can interpret data and turn findings into actionable priorities.
- You have strong written English and communication skills.
- You can work independently and take ownership of outcomes.
Good to have:
- Experience growing Shopify apps or B2B SaaS products.
- Experience with product-led content strategies.
- Understanding of conversion rate optimization.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted search and discovery.
- Experience working with developers on technical SEO.
- Experience managing content writers or freelancers.
- Familiarity with automation tools.
Who will thrive here
Someone who:
- Enjoys understanding customer problems before researching keywords.
- Can explain why an article is worth producing.
- Understands that 1,000 relevant visitors can be more valuable than 100,000 irrelevant ones.
- Is comfortable getting into the details rather than delegating everything.
- Challenges assumptions and backs recommendations with evidence.
- Experiments, measures results, and learns quickly.
- Uses AI and automation thoughtfully without blindly trusting their outputs.
- Takes ownership without needing constant direction.
- Can operate in a fast-moving environment with multiple products.
Who this role isn't for
- Someone whose SEO experience is limited to preparing reports.
- Someone who has primarily coordinated agencies without hands-on execution.
- Someone who believes publishing more AI-generated articles automatically produces growth.
- Someone who focuses exclusively on keyword rankings and traffic.
- Someone who needs a large team or extensive resources to execute.
- Someone who follows SEO checklists without understanding business objectives.

- Improvement in technical SEO health.
- Content-to-product conversion performance.
