About Cherub

Cherub is a social-first fundraising network connecting founders, investors, and creators. We’re building the infrastructure for a new generation of ownership—helping founders build strategic cap tables and giving creators and emerging investors greater access to private-company investing, advising, and equity opportunities.

We sit at the intersection of startups, venture, culture, and the creator economy. Content is a critical part of how we build that category.

  • Own white glove onboarding. Lead introductory calls and platform walkthroughs, help members complete their profiles, and understand their investment interests, preferred stages, sectors, and check sizes.

  • Build lasting relationships. Serve as the primary point of contact for investor members, with thoughtful check-ins, relevant introductions, and timely follow-up.

  • Grow Investor Pro. Identify members who would benefit from Investor Pro, communicate its value, and own the upgrade process, renewals, and membership revenue goals.

  • Build the sales pipeline and engine for private rooms Drive sales across key investor products ensuring you are hitting key KPIs and milestones

  • Product Feedback Work with the product team to launch and ship products that will enhance the investor experience

  • Marketing and content Work with marketing and content teams to spotlight key investors, content and breaking news across social and email

  • Keep members engaged. Connect investors with relevant opportunities, founders, and programming based on their interests, and re-engage members who have become inactive.

  • Bring the right people together. Curate investor invitations for dinners and events, manage outreach and RSVPs, and follow up afterward to keep relationships moving.

  • Build a repeatable process. Maintain an accurate CRM, track outreach and member activity, and report on recruitment, onboarding, upgrades, engagement, and retention.

  • Work across the team. Partner with founder memberships, events, editorial, and product to improve the investor experience and turn member feedback into action.

What You Bring

  • 4+ years of experience in membership sales, investor relations, business development, partnerships, or relationship management.

  • An established network across angel investing, venture capital, or family offices, with a track record of bringing new relationships into a business or community.

  • Experience converting prospects into paying members or clients and growing revenue while maintaining strong relationships.

  • Fluency in the startup and investing ecosystem, including how different investors evaluate opportunities and build networks.

  • Excellent communication, sound judgment, discretion, and consistent follow-through. You make people feel looked after and keep the details organized.

  • Fluency in building AI-assisted workflows end to end: design it, run it, measure it, and improve it.

  • Comfort owning a CRM, working toward measurable goals, and building processes at a growing startup.

  • Availability to attend events and travel as needed.

What Success Looks Like

A growing community of relevant, engaged investors; a smooth onboarding experience; consistent Investor Pro conversions and renewals; strong investor attendance at events; and members who stay active, refer others, and see clear value in being part of Cherub.

How We Work

We move before we’re told to. High agency isn’t a perk here, it’s the job. We own outcomes, not tasks, and we’d rather you try something and course-correct than wait around for a green light.

We’re craftspeople. We ship fast and sometimes it’s imperfect, but at the end of a hard sprint you should be able to point at what you made and mean it. Generic isn’t good enough here.

We stay curious. Everything is moving fast: platforms, markets, AI. The best people here are students of their craft whether or not anyone asked them to be.

We operate with integrity. No politics, no ego, no blame. We’re honest with each other and with the people trusting us with real money and real connections.

We earn the trust we’re given. This company is small, the mission is big, and every person here carries real weight. We don’t micro manage you. We trust you. Don’t make us regret it.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $100,000-$120,000 per year, depending on experience and location. This role is also eligible for a performance bonus and uncapped commission, and includes company-covered health insurance and a career development stipend.
