M3 Wake Research continues to grow through acquisitions and uncompromising commitment to careful planning and execution in accordance with regulatory compliance.

Conducting studies since 1984, M3 Wake Research owns a proprietary patient database of potential clinical trial participants across the US. As of today, our board-certified physicians have completed more than 7,000+ successful clinical trials, while consistently exceeding sponsor expectations for integrity, timeliness, subject enrollment, human protection, and expeditious delivery of accurate evaluable data.

Due to our continued growth, we are hiring for a Senior Feasibility Lead at Wake Research, an M3 company. This position is a remote position.

Job Description

M3 Wake Research is looking for a Senior Feasibility Lead to join our Business Development team. You’ll lead feasibility assessments across our network of wholly owned research sites, working closely with BD managers, Site Directors, and Principal Investigators to match incoming trials with the right sites. You’ll know our sites inside and out, turn sponsor requirements into smart site selection and submission strategies, and help the network win more studies. This is a mostly internal-facing role with some exposure to Sponsors and CROs.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the feasibility process from opportunity intake through submission and follow-up
  • Act as the link between Business Development and our site-facing teams to gauge interest in upcoming trials
  • Build and maintain a detailed knowledge base of every site, including PI expertise, therapeutic strengths, patient populations, enrollment metrics, and capacity
  • Complete feasibility questionnaires and related documents quickly and accurately
  • Use past performance data to recommend the best sites for each opportunity
  • Review protocol requirements against site capabilities, staffing, and patient populations, and flag risks and gaps
  • Partner with site leadership and PIs to stay current on capabilities and address operational challenges
  • Coordinate site readiness with Site Directors and PIs, and support Sponsor/CRO qualification calls
  • Promote M3 Wake Research sites in conversations with external clients
  • Keep Salesforce data clean and build reports and dashboards across Salesforce, Realtime, and research databases
  • Track and report feasibility metrics (response, selection, and award rates) to BD and leadership
  • Lead post-submission debriefs and use Sponsor/CRO feedback to sharpen strategy
  • Watch therapeutic and competitive trends to anticipate upcoming opportunities
  • Train BD and site-facing staff on feasibility best practices
  • Handle confidential Sponsor and protocol information per company policy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or relevant industry experience.
  • 3-4 years of clinical research experience.
  • Experience coordinating feasibility, site selection, or start-up activities across multiple sites or studies at once, with a record of meeting Sponsor deadlines
  • Working knowledge of the clinical trial process, protocol interpretation, and ICH-GCP
  • Knowledge of therapeutic areas and patient recruitment and enrollment strategies
  • Proficiency in Excel, plus strong analytical, reporting, and data visualization skills
  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM, and Clinical Conductor or a similar CTMS
  • Familiarity with research databases like Citeline, GlobalData, and Zymewire
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and tight deadlines in a remote, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across sites and teams without direct reporting authority
