Senior DevOps Engineer

Ciklum is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be the dedicated technical backbone for our SecOps team and cloud data engine. You will act as the sole engineering partner supporting security projects, building production-grade data pipelines, securing cloud infrastructure, and automating execution workflows. You will partner directly with backend, data, and security research teams to scale a resilient, cost-effective infrastructure across clouds. Additionally, AI is deeply integrated into how we operate—you will manage infrastructure supporting LLM-driven workflows and leverage AI agents to accelerate operational tasks, automation, and incident mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Deploying, monitoring, and logging Kubernetes workloads using GitOps tools such as ArgoCD, Jenkins, Grafana, Prometheus
• Planning and building highly available services and disaster recovery architecture frameworks
• Cooperating with engineering support to troubleshoot complex problems across different specializations
• Working through all software release stages in both development and production environments

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have to be proficient in Kubernetes, Linux and Jenkins with coding experience in Python
• Have to show experience designing and implementing large scale continuous delivery solutions
• Have to be experienced with AI tools/AI agents and demonstrate cost effective use of it
• Have to understand networking, security, performance for high scale applications
• Have to be a self-motivated professional capable of working with minimal supervision
• Have to possess detailed problem solving skills and experience in a global company
• Have to have experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP

Desirable

• Experience directly supporting security teams, threat intelligence platforms, SIEMs, or incident response automated playbooks
• Hands-on experience provisioning infrastructure for LLM APIs, vector databases, or AI workload serving
• Solid understanding of GCP networking, VPC Service Controls, fine-grained IAM security policies, and zero-trust security concepts
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., GCP Professional Cloud Architect / DevOps Engineer, CKA – Certified Kubernetes Administrator)
