Sales & Account Manager (ENG) (INTERNATIONA, LOGISTICS BACKGROUND)

The Sales & Account Manager is responsible for both acquiring new clients and managing existing accounts. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in the international logistics and exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering client success.

Responsibilities

• Quote domestic and international air shipments (primarily export, some import)
• Access proprietary pricing system with multiple platforms to retrieve pricing
• Apply markup percentages as instructed by management
• Gather trucking costs, airline costs, and transfer costs for export shipments
• Contact overseas agents/partners to obtain international pricing quotes
• Compile complete pricing packages and send quotes to customers
• Follow up with customers on submitted quotes
• Coordinate with operations team once customer accepts quote and books shipment
• Handle both air freight pricing (primary focus) with minimal ocean freight
• Communicate with carriers to verify availability and pricing in specific regions (e.g., Kentucky)
• Work with airlines such as American Airlines in Atlanta or Miami for shipment routing

Requirements

• Exceptional spoken and written English
• Neutral or very minimal accent
• Polished, professional phone presence
• Proven sales experience
• Proven appointment-setting and lead-conversion experience
• Experience handling inbound and outbound calls
• Experience following up and nurturing leads
• Comfortable making outbound sales calls
• Strong closing ability
• Highly proactive and accountable
• Able to work independently without constantly waiting for instructions
• Customer service experience
• CRM experience
• Experience working toward measurable sales and conversion KPIs
• Custom recruitment required for specialized freight forwarding background with experience in quoting domestic and international air shipments (export and import).
• Candidate must have worked with a 3PL or freight forwarding company in the U.S. (e.g., Seiko, Pilot, Continental Freight Forwarding, AIT).

System and Work Setup Requirements

• A stable and high-speed internet connection preferably 25 MBPS or higher with backup in cases of power interruption or service provider issues.
• Own PC/laptop with 8GB RAM, and a processor of Core i5 / AMD Ryzen 3 / 2013 Mac equivalent or higher; Windows 10 or above / Catalina 10.15 or newer; with up-to-date web browsers, and security software, 500GB/128 SSD storage
• Headset/earphone with noise cancellation and webcam at 720p or higher resolution
• A designated, quiet, and well-organized workspace free from distractions to facilitate focused work
• Need to learn and work within Zenoti and any additional CRM/communications systems we implement.
