Product Manager

## Senior Product Manager

Austin, TX or Remote (US) | Full-time | Salary + Equity

## About the Role

This is one of the most important hires at Suppli. We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager who wants the autonomy and impact of a founding product role, with direct ownership of one or two of our core products.

You won’t just manage a roadmap — you’ll define the vision and strategy for your product area, establish what success looks like, and own execution from customer discovery through launch and iteration. You’ll work closely with our Head of Product, founders, engineers, and commercial teams to solve meaningful problems for our customers.

We’re a fast-moving company with an ambitious engineering team. We need someone who can turn customer insights and business opportunities into clear product direction, make thoughtful tradeoffs, and give engineers the context they need to build exceptional software.

We’re looking for someone who thinks in outcomes, moves fast, and uses AI not as a buzzword but as a daily multiplier — to prototype, design, analyze, and build.

## Who Thrives Here

* You think like an owner, not a feature manager. You’re comfortable taking responsibility for an entire product area — from understanding customer problems and setting priorities to defining the roadmap and delivering measurable results. You don’t need someone telling you what to build next.
* You can move from idea to prototype quickly. When you have a product hypothesis, you find ways to validate it before committing significant engineering resources. Whether that’s a clickable flow, an AI-assisted prototype, or a functional proof of concept, you make ideas tangible.
* You’re analytical and decisive. You break down ambiguous problems, evaluate tradeoffs, and make decisions grounded in customer insights, data, and business impact. You know when to investigate further and when to move.
* You define success before you build anything. You don’t write a PRD without first asking: What does good look like? How will we know if this worked? What’s the leading indicator we’ll track in week one versus month three? You use metrics to drive decisions, not simply report results.
* You’re AI-native, not AI-curious. You use AI tools regularly to accelerate your work — whether that’s prototyping, exploring designs, analyzing feedback, drafting specifications, or building internal tools. You’re resourceful and don’t wait for perfect conditions to make progress.
* You have a bias for action. You prioritize execution over perfection, move quickly from discovery to delivery, and take full ownership of both outcomes and setbacks.
* You communicate with clarity at every level. Whether you’re speaking with customers, engineers, Sales, or the founding team, you can articulate the problem, explain your reasoning, and align people around a clear direction.
* You thrive in a high-ownership environment. We’re building an ambitious company together. You take initiative, embrace responsibility, and step up when it matters.

## What You’ll Own

* Own the vision and strategy for your product area. Take end-to-end responsibility for one or two of Suppli’s core products. Understand the customer, define the product vision, build and prioritize the roadmap, and drive meaningful business outcomes. You’ll have significant autonomy while partnering closely with our Head of Product on broader company priorities.
* Define what success looks like. Establish clear success metrics, leading indicators, and measurable outcomes for your initiatives. Make sure Engineering and stakeholders understand why we’re building something and how we’ll know whether it worked.
* Turn customer problems into product direction. Conduct user interviews, analyze customer feedback, and identify opportunities to solve high-impact problems. Translate qualitative and quantitative insights into clear priorities and actionable product decisions.
* Drive execution from concept to launch. Own the entire product development lifecycle, from discovery and requirements through scoping, development, release, and iteration. Work closely with Engineering and Design to ship high-quality customer-facing software.
* Prototype before you spec. Use AI-assisted tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Lovable to explore concepts, validate hypotheses, and communicate product ideas. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable using modern tools to move faster.
* Build a culture of measurement and experimentation. Partner with Engineering to instrument product analytics, define meaningful dashboards, and establish feedback loops. Use A/B testing, phased rollouts, and other experimentation methods where appropriate to validate assumptions and improve outcomes.
* Shape exceptional product experiences. Work closely with Design to create intuitive, polished experiences for complex B2B workflows. Bring strong product design judgment and be comfortable developing flows, wireframes, or prototypes when needed.
* Identify opportunities for AI-native product development. Collaborate with Engineering to explore how AI, automation, and intelligent workflows can create real value for customers. Balance innovation with reliability, explainability, and trust.
* Be the connective tissue across the business. Partner directly with our Head of Product, founders, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success. Bring customer and commercial context into product decisions, communicate tradeoffs, and keep teams aligned around the highest-impact work.

## Must-Have

* 5+ years of product management experience, including experience in a startup or high-growth technology environment.
* Demonstrated end-to-end product ownership — you’ve independently owned meaningful product initiatives from problem discovery and strategy through execution, launch, and measurable impact.
* Strong analytical thinking and product judgment — you can break down complex problems, define success metrics, evaluate tradeoffs, and make evidence-based decisions.
* Proven ability to ship customer-facing software — you have a track record of working closely with engineers and designers to deliver high-quality products.
* Demonstrable AI-native workflow — you can show how you’ve used AI tools to prototype, analyze, design, or accelerate your work.
* Technical fluency — you understand APIs, integrations, data flows, and system architecture well enough to write precise requirements and collaborate credibly with Engineering.
* Product design fluency — you have strong UX instincts and can contribute meaningfully to product flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills — You can clearly articulate complex ideas, product decisions, and tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical audiences. You’re equally comfortable collaborating with engineers, engaging directly with customers, and aligning senior leadership around a shared product vision.
* Comfort operating with autonomy and ambiguity — you’re resourceful, proactive, and capable of driving outcomes without extensive oversight.

## Bonus Points

* Engineering, Computer Science, or Product Design background — you’ve previously worked as an engineer, designer, or in another technical product-building capacity.
* Founder or early-stage startup experience — you’ve built products or companies from the ground up and understand what it takes to operate with limited resources.
* Accounts Receivable / Finance exposure — experience with invoicing, payments, cash application, credit workflows, or adjacent financial software.
* Experience with AI-powered products — you’ve shipped LLM-powered features, automation, or intelligent workflows and understand the practical challenges of building reliable AI experiences.
* Fintech or B2B marketplace background — experience navigating complex integrations, multi-stakeholder environments, or financial workflows.
