About Us
Finni Health is a rapidly growing healthcare technology company transforming the way ABA practices are built, operated, and scaled. We partner with independent ABA practice owners to help them build thriving, sustainable businesses while delivering exceptional care to the families they serve.
We’ve grown 400% and are approaching profitability, with the backing of General Catalyst and Y Combinator. As we continue expanding our footprint, we’re looking for experienced ABA operators who understand what it takes to build and scale successful practices across multiple states.
About the Role
As a Multi-State ABA Operations Manager, you’ll work directly with independent ABA practice owners across multiple states, helping them build, operate, and grow successful, sustainable practices. You’ll serve as a trusted operational and strategic partner, developing a deep understanding of each practice’s business, identifying opportunities to improve performance, and helping owners navigate the operational, financial, and strategic challenges of running an ABA practice.
This is a highly collaborative, provider-facing role that combines hands-on healthcare operations, business strategy, and relationship management. You’ll support a diverse portfolio of practices across different states, bringing an understanding of the operational considerations, payer environments, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics that can vary by location.
You’ll work alongside practice owners to improve financial and operational performance, solve complex business challenges, and identify opportunities for sustainable growth. You’ll also collaborate closely with Finni’s internal teams to address provider needs, improve operational processes, and ensure our partners have the resources and infrastructure to run successful practices.
The ideal candidate has firsthand experience operating or supporting ABA practices across multiple states and understands that successful practice operations require more than a one-size-fits-all approach. You’re comfortable building trusted relationships with independent practice owners, analyzing business performance, navigating state-specific operational complexities, and translating challenges into practical solutions.
What We’re Looking For
Multi-State ABA Operations Experience
5+ years of experience in ABA or behavioral health, with significant experience operating, managing, or supporting ABA practices.
Experience supporting practices, clinics, or healthcare operations across multiple states is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with state-specific ABA regulations, payer requirements, Medicaid programs, credentialing processes, and reimbursement environments is highly valued.
Strong understanding of the operational realities of running an ABA practice, including clinical operations, staffing, utilization, scheduling, patient growth, retention, compliance, RCM, payer relationships, and reimbursement.
Experience partnering directly with BCBAs, clinical leaders, practice owners, or other healthcare providers.
Understanding of the relationship between clinical quality, provider capacity, operational performance, and financial outcomes.
Business & Financial Acumen
Strong understanding of the financial drivers of an ABA practice and what it takes to build a healthy, sustainable business.
Comfortable analyzing financial statements, budgets, revenue, expenses, staffing costs, utilization, margins, and other key business drivers.
Experience owning or contributing to the financial performance, P&L, or budget of a practice, multiple practices, or a region preferred.
Ability to translate financial and operational data into clear, actionable recommendations.
Understanding of how payer mix, reimbursement, patient volume, staffing, utilization, and retention impact practice profitability.
Operational Execution & Growth
Proven ability to identify operational challenges, determine root causes, and develop practical solutions.
Experience supporting new practice launches, entering new markets, and preparing operations for sustainable growth.
Experience developing or optimizing staffing models, operational workflows, and accountability structures.
Strong understanding of operational KPIs and how to use data to improve practice performance.
Experience setting and managing performance targets related to growth, retention, utilization, patient access, provider productivity, and profitability.
Comfortable balancing immediate operational needs with longer-term growth and expansion priorities.
Strategic Problem Solving
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to navigate complex, ambiguous problems.
Able to look beyond immediate challenges to identify underlying operational and business drivers.
Comfortable developing actionable growth plans and working alongside stakeholders to execute them.
Experience building operational processes, systems, and infrastructure in growing or evolving organizations.
Highly resourceful, adaptable, and willing to roll up your sleeves to get things done.
Provider Partnership & Communication
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to build trust with independent practice owners and become a credible thought partner on operational, financial, and business decisions.
Comfortable influencing and collaborating with providers without direct authority.
Able to communicate complex operational and financial concepts clearly and make recommendations without being overly prescriptive.
Genuine interest in helping independent healthcare business owners build successful practices.
