We are an AI-first insurance company teaching AI to handle German insurance claims correctly. To do that, we are building a high-quality training and test dataset, and we need people who know how claims are really handled. You will join an existing team that has been doing this for over a year, so you get clear guidelines, examples and people to ask from day one.
What you will do
- Review insurance claim cases and decide how they should be handled: covered or not, why, and what the next step is
- Check and correct AI answers on claims, and explain in a few sentences what was wrong
- Write example answers based on policy terms (AVB)
- Flag tricky edge cases and unclear policy wording
- Work through cases in German, following our guidelines
Must have
- Hands-on claims handling experience at an insurer, broker, claims service provider or loss adjuster (Schadenbearbeitung / Schadensachbearbeitung)
- German at C1 level or higher (all cases and policies are in German)
- Careful, consistent work and the ability to explain your decisions clearly
- Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude (no technical skills needed)
Nice to have
- Private liability insurance (Privathaftpflicht, PHV) is the top priority; household (Hausrat), motor (KFZ), health, legal expenses and building are also valuable
- Experience with policy terms (AVB) and coverage decisions
- Data annotation, AI training or quality review experience
- Good written English
How we work
Part-time, 10–20 h/week to start, flexible hours, remote, long-term (6+ months), paid hourly as a contractor. More hours are possible for strong contributors. We start with a short paid test task.
