Functional Tester

Hi,We are looking for a Functional Tester to support an Itron Field Collection System upgrade for Liberty Utilities.Location: Remote, USADuration: Contract to hire(Minimum 3 months)Target Start Date: October 26, 2026
Visa: US Citizen, Green Card, H-1B

The project involves testing the upgraded FCS version 4.7 and validating field meter-reading operations before the production rollout.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare test plans, scenarios, and test cases.
• Perform functional, non-functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Support SIT and UAT activities.
• Validate electricity and water meter-reading workflows.
• Test applicable field devices, route displays, and mapping functionality.
• Verify data exchange between FCS and SAP.
• Track defects, perform retesting, and prepare test reports.

Required experience:

• Functional testing of Itron FCS or a compatible field collection system.
• Test planning, test execution, defect management, and regression testing.
• Experience validating business workflows and documenting results.
• Utility meter-reading or SAP billing integration experience is preferred.
