About PariStay

PariStay (paristay.org) is an online accommodation listing platform streamlining the search for shared rooms, private apartments, and student housing across the Paris region (Île-de-France). We are building the go-to platform to make finding housing transparent, fast, and accessible.

As an early team member, you will work closely with us to build, ship, and scale core features that directly help thousands of people find a home in Paris.

What You'll Do

• Core Development: Build and ship new features for our web platform using modern frontend and backend technologies.
• Search & Discovery: Improve listing filters, map integrations, and search performance to help users find housing matching their exact criteria.
• User Experience: Implement clean, responsive UI/UX designs to ensure a seamless experience across mobile and desktop.
• Database & Integrations: Help manage and query database structures for property listings, user accounts, and messaging.
• Product Ownership: Take ownership of features from concept to deployment, iterating quickly based on real user feedback.

What We're Looking For

• Background: A strong portfolio of projects, a computer science/bootcamp background, or previous internship experience building web applications.
• Tech Stack:
• Frontend: JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js (or similar modern frameworks).
• Backend: Node.js, Python.
• Database: Experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Problem Solver: Eager to learn fast, take on responsibility, and write clean, maintainable code.
• Language: Proficiency in English.
