Freelancer Photo Retouchers

We’re looking for a photo retouchers with a strong eye and an artistic touch. Someone who knows what to refine, what to leave alone, and how to bring a portrait to its most compelling version. You’ll be working primarily with fashion and portrait photography, helping bring images to a highly polished, editorial level while keeping the subject feeling real, dimensional, and alive, with consistency across a large volume of work.

We’re looking for Freelancers to join the project from Oct 16th – Nov 9th.

Requirements

  • Has a highly developed eye for skin, texture, light, color, and detail
  • Can beautifully refine portraits without making them feel overly retouched
  • Understands fashion and editorial photography
  • Is meticulous with skin, hair, clothing, backgrounds, and fine details
  • Knows when to push an image and when to leave it alone
  • Can match a specific visual direction while still bringing their own taste and judgment
  • Has an exceptional level of Photoshop skill and attention to detail
  • Can maintain a high level of quality and consistency across a large output
  • Can take an already strong photograph and elevate it significantly through thoughtful, considered retouching

You are someone who notices the tiny details other people miss. You understand the difference between making an image look retouched and making it look beautiful. You have a sophisticated eye for skin, color, light, texture, and proportion, and you know how to push an image while still keeping it believable.

Experience working with major fashion, beauty, entertainment, advertising, or editorial clients is highly valued.

We’re less interested in a particular résumé and more interested in the work. If you have a portfolio that shows a sophisticated eye and the kind of polish we’re describing, we’d love to see it. Please share rates with your submission.
