Freelance Healthcare Technology Sales Consultant — Commission Only

Product: CIAP — Clinical Intelligence & Analytics Platform
Location: UK-wide | Remote and flexible
Working arrangement: Independent, self-employed engagement, subject to the agreed contractual terms

About NeuralEdge and the opportunity

NeuralEdge Consulting Limited is developing CIAP (Clinical Intelligence & Analytics Platform), a healthcare technology platform designed to support care providers with care delivery, operational management, medication processes and clinical intelligence.

We are seeking a commercially minded, self-motivated Freelance Healthcare Technology Sales Consultant to help introduce CIAP to residential care homes and domiciliary care providers across the UK.

This is an opportunity to work with an emerging healthcare technology business, contribute to its early commercial growth and build relationships with decision-makers across the social care sector.

The ideal candidate will combine strong B2B sales capabilities with a consultative approach to understanding care providers' operational challenges and demonstrating how technology can address them.

Key responsibilities

  • Business development: Identify and engage prospective customers, including care home owners, registered managers, domiciliary care agency directors and operations managers.
  • Lead generation: Generate qualified sales opportunities through professional networking, targeted research, direct outreach and existing industry relationships.
  • Product demonstrations: Arrange and deliver demonstrations of CIAP using product access, demonstrations and sales materials provided by NeuralEdge.
  • Consultative selling: Understand prospective customers' needs, explain relevant platform capabilities and communicate the commercial value of CIAP.
  • Sales conversion: Manage prospect follow-ups, commercial discussions, objections and negotiations through to customer acquisition.
  • Pipeline management: Maintain accurate records of prospects, communications, opportunities, next steps and sales progress.
  • Market intelligence: Gather feedback on customer requirements, competitor offerings, pricing and market opportunities to help refine CIAP's commercial strategy.
  • Internal collaboration: Work with NeuralEdge to communicate customer feedback, coordinate demonstrations and support a professional prospect-to-customer experience.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, business development or commercial account acquisition.
  • Experience selling SaaS, healthcare technology, software or other technology solutions.
  • An existing network of contacts within UK residential or domiciliary care is highly desirable.
  • Confidence engaging senior decision-makers and building relationships with business owners and care-sector leaders.
  • Strong prospecting, presentation, communication, negotiation and closing skills.
  • The ability to explain technology in clear, commercially relevant terms.
  • Good organisational and analytical skills, including the ability to manage a sales pipeline and evaluate sales performance.
  • Competence with everyday business tools, including email, spreadsheets, CRM systems and presentation software.
  • A proactive, professional and consultative approach, with the ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.

Experience in healthcare technology or social care software is advantageous. An established network of relevant decision-makers may be particularly valuable.

Commission and working arrangement

This is an independent, commission-only opportunity with no fixed salary at the outset.

  • Proposed commission: 20% of first-year subscription revenue actually collected by NeuralEdge from customers personally sourced and closed by the consultant, subject to a written commission agreement.
  • Company-generated leads: Different commission rates may apply to qualified leads supplied by NeuralEdge. The applicable rate will be agreed in writing before work begins on those opportunities.
  • Sales support: NeuralEdge will provide access to appropriate product demonstrations, approved sales and marketing materials, product information and technical support.
  • Flexible working: The consultant can work remotely across the UK and organise their activities independently, subject to agreed commercial objectives and customer commitments.
  • Initial review: The engagement will be reviewed after 90 days against mutually agreed sales activity, qualified pipeline and commercial progress objectives.

The commission agreement will define when commission becomes payable, how customer attribution is established, how cancellations or refunds are treated, and the arrangements for renewals, subsequent subscription revenue and termination.

The engagement will be documented in accordance with the actual working arrangement and applicable UK employment, tax and other relevant requirements.

Please note: This opportunity does not include a guaranteed salary or guaranteed earnings. Candidates should consider the commission-only structure before applying.

What you'll gain

  • The opportunity to help establish the commercial presence of an emerging healthcare technology business.
  • Direct engagement with care-sector decision-makers.
  • The flexibility to develop your own sales pipeline and professional relationships.
  • Access to product demonstrations, sales resources and technical support.
  • The opportunity to contribute practical market insight to product positioning and commercial development.

How to apply

Please submit a short introduction covering:

  1. Your relevant B2B sales, SaaS or healthcare technology experience.
  2. The sectors and types of customers you have sold to.
  3. Examples of sales results, contracts won or business relationships developed.
  4. Any existing relationships with UK care home groups, independent care homes or domiciliary care providers.
  5. Your proposed approach to identifying, engaging and acquiring your first five CIAP customers.

Please also indicate your availability and confirm that you understand the commission-only nature of the opportunity.
