Dissertation Committee Member (pool posting)

St. Bonaventure University is seeking Dissertation Committee Members for the Doctor of Education program. The role of the Dissertation Committee Member is to provide targeted feedback in their area of expertise, such as content areas and/or methodology, to the candidate throughout the dissertation process. The Committee Member participates in periodic meetings with the candidate and Chair, as well as the proposal and dissertation defenses, offering their input to the Chair, who will make the final decision on the dissertation defense.

The stipend is $250 in the first semester (dissertation proposal defense semester), and $250 in the third semester (dissertation defense semester). Second semester interaction is limited.

Earned doctorate, EdD preferred.

Prior experience on a dissertation committee in an educational area preferred.
