Director of Growth Marketing

Real Gaming is Nevada’s licensed online gaming operator. We build and run the branded real-money gaming apps for several of the state’s best-known casino brands, from Las Vegas, with players across Nevada. We are hiring one senior marketer to run player growth end to end.

The role in one line: you own how we find paying players and how we keep them. Paid acquisition, the promotions and ad creative that drive it, lifecycle and CRM, and the analytics that tell us what is working all sit with one person. You do the work yourself, with an in-house AI and API platform in place of a team.

Remote within the United States. Full time. $8,000 to $12,000 per month depending on experience, plus a quarterly performance variable. The engagement begins as a 1099 contract for the first 90 days and converts to W-2 employment on mutual fit.

What the job actually is:
– You hold the player-growth P&L: acquisition, first deposit, repeat deposit, retention, win-back and referral, judged on paying players and their lifetime value rather than installs or sign-ups.
– You run paid media on Meta, Google and Apple Search Ads directly: audiences, suppression, server-side conversion signals, budget moves argued from cohort quality.
– You design and price promotions: every offer costed against incremental paying users before it ships and read against a holdout afterwards.
– You brief, test and judge ad creative. We treat creative as a growth lever, not a production task, and the data says it matters more than targeting.
– You run lifecycle on our in-house CRM platform: activation sequences, win-back by recency, at-risk saves for high-value players, cadence and channel decisions.
– You operate an AI/API layer that does the typing: analysis, audience builds, copy variants, reporting. You direct it and you are the approval gate on anything live, on incentive spend and on budget changes.
– You work inside a regulated consumer market: responsible-gaming rules, claim hygiene and brand vocabulary are part of the craft here.

You report to the CEO. There is no team to manage and no agency in the loop. AI and API literacy is central to this role:
This is a one-person growth function leveraged by software, so the work is done with AI and APIs rather than delegated to staff. You get the tooling a ten-person team would normally need: direct API access to the growth platform, AI operators for analysis, copy, audience builds and reporting, and clean data. Your job is to direct that machinery and own the numbers, not to staff it. In practice that means you are comfortable working with AI agent tools such as Claude Code or Claude Cowork, calling APIs from a command line with AI assistance, pulling your own data with SQL, writing and refining the prompts and simple scripts that run your analysis, and judging AI output critically before anything goes live. You do not need to be an engineer. You do need to be the kind of marketer who opens a terminal, tries the tool, and can tell when it is wrong. Experience using APIs and AI, and AI with APIs for data analysis, is a core requirement, and the practical exercise in our process tests it directly.

Requirements

Who does well in this seat:
– At least five years personally running paid and lifecycle marketing for a consumer product, with numbers you moved and can explain.
– Hands-on ownership of ad creative and offers, not only media buying.
– Working fluency with APIs and AI tools for analysis and execution; attribution argued from cohorts and holdouts rather than platform dashboards.
– Direct experience on Meta, Google and Apple Search Ads campaigns with evidence of cohort quality.
– Time in a compliance-heavy consumer vertical such as fintech, lending, crypto, trading or telehealth.
– Candor, ownership of your own numbers, and comfort being the person who approves rather than the person who executes everything by hand.

Helpful but not required:
– Regulated consumer or gaming experience. The domain is learnable in the first 90 days if the rest is there.
– Email deliverability operations.
– AI agents or LLM tooling used in a production growth workflow.

One important note on fit: this is a single-employer position. A small outside advisory engagement that does not touch your hours here is fine; tell us about it. If you currently run your own agency, consultancy or client roster, this is not the right role.

Please answer the questions in your application; we read every answer.

Benefits

– $8,000 to $12,000 per month depending on experience ($96,000 to $144,000 annualized)
– Quarterly performance variable of up to 20% of base, tied to cost per incremental paying user and payer retention against agreed targets
– 1099 contract for the first 90 days, converting to W-2 employment on mutual fit
– Fully remote within the United States
– Direct access to an in-house AI/API growth platform and clean data; the tooling a ten-person team would normally need
