Business Development Manager

7,800 GBP a year for one agreed day a week, plus an uncapped commission built to take the package past 100,000 GBP a year at the volume we are targeting. The fixed is the floor. The commission is the job.

NoriaHealth coordinates planned private medical care for patients who pay for themselves, delivered at a partner medical centre in continental Europe, typically within days rather than months. We charge a coordination fee per case. We provide no care and no treatment ourselves.

The job in one line: take our contact base and turn names into conversations, and conversations into partners who send us patients.

What you will do. Work a prepared file of several thousand named organisations across health insurers and assistance networks, private hospital groups and clinic networks, employee benefit schemes and members funds, and medical travel intermediaries, in Ireland and the United Kingdom. Make first contact, reach the person who actually decides, and get the meeting. Carry each conversation forward to a signed memorandum of understanding or a first quoted case, with the board deciding the terms. Take insurer provider referencing from first contact through the application and the compliance file. Keep the pipeline recorded as you go, and report once a month on what moved.

What this role is not. You are not asked to design the strategy. It exists, it is set, and the board owns it. No board seat, no statutory directorship, and none of the duties of a company director. You apply an agreed plan to an agreed list, and you are measured on what you open.

What we are looking for. A commercial record in health insurance, assistance, private healthcare, employee benefits, medtech, pharma or medical travel, with partnerships you personally opened. Someone who picks up the file in week one and starts calling and writing, without a ramp up period, a discovery phase or a plan to write first. Immediate availability. Comfort with high volume outbound work and with the rejection that comes with it. The ability to reach a decision maker inside an insurer, a hospital group or a benefits team, and to hold your own in that conversation. Hands on throughout: there is no team and nobody to delegate to. Resident in the United Kingdom or in Ireland, with the existing right to work where you live. Fluent professional English, any other European language useful and not required.

What we offer. A commission that is where this package is made: uncapped, paid on every case you bring that converts and is actually paid, paid monthly as the money comes in rather than held to a year end, at a rate that rises as your annual volume rises. The rates are the same scale that applies to every introducer we work with, and they are set out in full at interview. Nothing is paid on prospects or on quotations that go nowhere, which is what makes the rest of it payable. A fixed of 7,800 GBP a year for one agreed day a week to start, paid monthly, reviewed at six months. Employed through our payroll or engaged through your own business, your choice, in either country. One day a week today, more days as the volume you open justifies them, and a full time role for the right person as the business reaches that point. A prepared contact base, the pricing and the quotations ready, and documents you can send on day one. No exclusivity: the other four days remain yours.

How to apply. Send a short note, no longer than one page, to info@noriahealth.com. Tell us one partnership you opened yourself, from first contact to agreement, and who you already know among insurers, hospital groups or benefit schemes in Ireland or the United Kingdom. A curriculum vitae is welcome and not required.
