Requirements

What are we looking for in you?

  • Minimum 2 years of demonstrable experience at immigration law firms, with direct and active handling of cases before the Immigration Court (EOIR / removal defense) — not solely in administrative or support functions.
  • Bilingual (Spanish / English) – fluent in speaking and writing (minimum B2 level).
  • Legal Team Leadership: Prior experience supervising, coordinating, or leading paralegals or legal staff, preferably in remote environments.
  • EOIR Procedure Mastery: Master Calendar Hearings, Individual Hearings, the BIA appeal process, and e-filing.
  • Motion Review: Ability to review and validate motions such as Continuance, Change of Venue, Reopen, Reconsider, Terminate, Withdraw, Administrative Closure, and Bond requests.
  • Knowledge of Immigration Relief available in removal proceedings: asylum, cancellation of removal, adjustment of status, among others.
  • Action-Oriented Profile: Willingness to personally step into a case or motion and set the example of execution for the rest of the team.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Control: You will conduct Pre-Attorney and Post-Attorney Reviews of 12–15 packages weekly each, ensuring every motion and filing meets the firm’s legal and formatting standards.
  • Strategic Case Management: You will assign and balance the team’s caseload (Court/ICE cases, USCIS motions, SIJ, and declarations) according to complexity and availability, while maintaining a master deadline calendar.
  • Continuous Improvement: You will implement at least one process improvement every two weeks (documents, templates, or automations) and verify its actual use in the team’s daily work.

Benefits

What do we offer you?

  • A competitive compensation: base payment per hour (15–18 USD]), and hourly rate increase after the first six months, depending on performance.
  • Ongoing professional development opportunities for you to strengthen your skills and grow in your career.
  • A dynamic and challenging work environment, where your talent will be valued and recognized.
  • The opportunity to make a positive impact on people’s lives, helping them achieve their dreams of a better life in the United States.
  • Eligibility to participate in company retreats and corporate events after six months.
  • Paid Time Off after twelve months tenure.
