Product Manager – Data Systems

The Role

To be responsible for the management and development or our data system product. To improve the user experience, increase value for our customers and drive profitability.

The Data System is to be the centre piece of our product offering and knowledge gathering. The purpose of the product is to assist people with dyslexia and other learning challenges to access printed text (language acquisition), to learn and/or improve reading and literacy.

The right personality?

A project manager type of personality. A person with the power to gather knowledge and define a product and push that through development and deployment. It is a hybrid person with capabilities to talk business and user value with management as well as tech solution with development. The work is not mechanical and we-tell-you-what-to-do, we need a person who actually think on their own. But one without too big an ego. It’s about the team, the company and the mission.

Although fully remote, we will need you to come to the office 2 – 3 times per month in order to take part in development meetings and provide feedback to the wider team (all expenses will be covered).

  • Knowledge within database development e.g. AWS and Firebase or similar

  • salary of £40,000-£50,000 depending on experience
  • annual salary increase
