We are looking for someone to join the team who has a passion for digital marketing and can help launch and grow our paid social channels. You will work closely with the Director of Lead Generation and the Media Buying Director and be supported by the wider marketing team to deliver best in class execution.

Paid Social Media Manager – 12 month maternity cover

The Paid Social Media Manager (Lead Generation) – UK specializes in developing and implementing targeted paid social media strategies focused on lead generation and performance metrics within the UK market. This role demands a keen focus on driving sales and conversions through meticulously crafted campaigns, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize performance and ROI. The manager will ensure content and campaigns are tailored for effectiveness and specifically designed to generate leads, drive sales, and meet specific performance objectives rather than focusing on branding or awareness.

Your areas of responsibility:

  1. Lead Generation Focused Strategies:  Devise and execute paid social media strategies with a primary focus on high scale lead generation, conversion optimization, and achieving high-performance metrics.
  2. Performance Driven Campaign Management: Oversee the creation, execution, and optimization of high scale ad campaigns, rigorously focusing on performance indicators such as CPA, CPL, and ROI, ensuring content is optimised for sales delivery.
  3. Data-Driven Analytics and Reporting: Utilise advanced analytics to monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance with an emphasis on lead generation metrics, making data-informed decisions to continuously optimize campaigns.
  4. Collaboration and Coordination:  Collaborate with creative, compliance and other teams to on campaigns creation feeding back creative performance insights to drive future campaign development.
Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field, with a strong preference for specialization in digital marketing or performance marketing. (Or equivalent experience)
  • Proven track record in paid social media marketing at scale with a clear focus on lead generation, performance marketing, and conversion optimization, with Life Insurance experience desirable, but not essential.
  • Expertise in utilising social media platforms to drive leads and sales, with a strong focus on performance analytics and optimization. Extensive experience driving leads through Meta is required. Lead generation experience through other platforms is desirable but not essential (TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube).
  • Advanced skills in analytics and performance measurement, with a proficiency in tools and techniques for tracking lead generation and conversion metrics.
  • Strategic thinking with a performance and ROI-driven mindset, capable of translating data insights into actionable lead generation strategies.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple performance-focused campaigns simultaneously.
  • A results-oriented individual with a passion for achieving tangible business outcomes through digital marketing efforts.
  • Adaptable and innovative, with a continuous improvement mindset focused on performance optimisation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a collaborative environment while maintaining a focus on lead generation and performance goals.
  • Excellent communication skills and creative content writing ability.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
