Head of Product

Our client is an innovative company which offers a very peculiar and engaging product. As the Head of Product, you will spearhead the strategic direction and overall management of the company’s product. Your responsibilities will encompass not only defining vision and strategy but also overseeing the execution and performance of the product line. Your leadership will be critical in driving innovation, optimizing player experiences, and ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Define a comprehensive vision, long-term product strategy, and roadmap for the development and enhancement of the product, aligning closely with business objectives and market dynamics.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis, staying abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and player preferences to inform strategic decisions.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and that the team focuses on high-impact features and enhancements.
  • Implement Agile methodologies and best practices to ensure efficient and timely delivery of features and improvements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between various stakeholders, including working closely with the CEO and executive management, game designers, developers, analysts, and marketing teams.
  • Foster clear communication channels and ensure alignment of goals and expectations across all levels of the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in product management roles within the gaming and/or creative industry.
  • Deep understanding of gaming dynamics, player behavior, and market trends.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience using tools like Jira, MIRO, or Trello.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritize features based on business value and user impact.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing products and teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
