Senior Motion Graphics Designer

You, the Senior Motion Graphics Designer of our dreams, are a creative thinker, an excellent collaborator, and possess a passion for delivering top-notch design work. As a result of your assets, you will increase brand reputation, advocacy, loyalty, and retention.

You want to ideate and create captivating social image ads, landing pages, website designs, wireframes, simple motion ads, and more that stop the scroll and tell a story. Not just fill space.

You are personable, outgoing, independent, and love coming up with creative ideas with the marketing team. You enjoy creating, iterating, and executing your design work, through and through. You own your projects and push for what imagery and videos you think will work best for the company long-term. 

In this role, you will join our Sales & Marketing team and be reporting to our Director of Marketing.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Become a brand expert, understanding and embodying Directive’s brand values in all design work

  • Maintain consistency across all design elements to reinforce and enhance brand identity

  • Manage and adhere to project timelines, ensuring timely delivery of exceptional design work

  • Develop stunning social image ads, landing pages, website designs, wireframes, simple motion ads, and other design assets

  • Support both marketing and sales team with assets necessary to level up their touchpoints with potential clients

  • Come up with creative ideas for ads, landing pages, and imagery to help tell the Directive story

What You Offer:

  • Out-of-the-box thinker with strong creative eye, experience with storytelling through imagery

  • 3+ years of experience of SaaS/agency experience

  • 5+ years in design

  • Extensive experience using Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premier Pro, Figma, Unbounce, and Creatopy

  • You’re able to take a leading role in our how brand comes to life through motion

  • Create both 2D and 3D animated visuals to enhance branding materials.

  • Design and produce video effects such as animated titles, transitions, graphic overlays, stickers, as well as special effects.

  • Extremely organized and can keep repository of all creative assets readily available

  • Have a portfolio of social image ads, landing pages, website designs, wireframes, simple motion ads, and other design assets you’ve created

  • Be able to execute heatmaps and page audits to support brand and design choices

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding on click through rate, conversion rates, and other core KPIs that make a design successful and leverage insights to enhance the effectiveness of design solutions

  • Strive for creative excellence by implementing best-in-industry practices in design

  • Stay updated on the latest features and tools to continuously enhance design capacity.

  • Able to see beyond the day-to-day grind but not afraid to go above & beyond to improve the process

Work Environment Requirements

As a remote-first company, you’ll have the ability to work from anywhere in the US, with the option to enjoy our state-of-the-art offices in Irvine, California. For some positions, as posted, we will accommodate global opportunities where we have established businesses, including Canada, the UK, and Australia. For global locations, you must have established and current work authorization and permanently reside in that country.

 

This role has the opportunity to operate 100% virtually from your home office. We primarily collaborate with our colleagues through virtual meetings (Zoom), and Slack. In this role, you will be required to operate a laptop computer (PC or Mac available), computer software platforms, and other office productivity tools as necessary. Due to the nature of this role, you must be able to remain stationary for extended periods, must be able to observe and interpret written and/or verbal communication, must have reliable internet access, and a professional background.
