Full Stack Web Developer

CXR Agency is a full spectrum design, marketing, and software development agency headquartered in Brooklyn, NY. We help a wide range of customers, from early stage startups to Fortune 100 enterprises execute on their ideas. We are looking for a mid-level Full Stack Web Developer to meet growing demand on our team. Ideal candidates would be looking to start taking steps towards management, as they will be expected to mentor overseas (India based) junior developers and grow into directly managing a small team.

Applicants must be detail oriented and value a quality-driven approach built on the principles of continuous improvement. A passion for cutting edge technology is a must. 

Our team is fully remote and hours somewhat flexible – our main workload comes in the morning when we overlap with our Indian staff. Early risers will do well in this position, but it is not strictly necessary.


  • Develop and maintain web applications using varied tech stacks (commonly React or WordPress based).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
  • Mentor junior developers based in India, providing guidance and support.
  • Assist in the recruitment and management of a small development team.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality code.
  • Continuously learn about new technologies and apply best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand requirements and provide updates.
  • Adhere to and contribute towards improving development processes and standards.
  • Ensure deliverables are completed on time and to a high standard of quality.
  • Work effectively in a remote, flexible working environment, aligning with overseas team members’ schedules.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, but not required
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL and NoSQL database systems, API paradigms, and ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
  • 3+ years of experience in Web development
  • Proven experience or strong interest in mentoring or leading junior developers
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote and flexible working environment.
  • A passion for cutting-edge technology and continuous learning.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
