Events Marketing Coordinator

When it comes to digital communities, The Alliance is leading the way. Product marketing, sales enablement, product-led growth, AI, customer success, CMOs; you name it, we’re home to thriving communities for them all.

Our pioneering conference Marketing team delivers market-dominating events across the tech, marketing and finance industry. They bring together leading minds to share the latest trends, challenges and opportunities facing companies, the tactics and tools needed to drive results, and a forum to make meaningful connections.

Why join us?

At The Alliance, community is at the core of everything we do, so we know better than most that communities are diverse spaces with people from all walks of life. Ensuring that we reflect this in our team is essential to us.

The Role

Join our dynamic team and be part of the action in the world of pioneering events. We’re on a rocketship of growth, attracting big-name speakers, attendees, and sponsors from TikTok, Microsoft, Peloton, and more. Our events calendar for 2023/2024 is stacked, featuring exciting locations like New York, Las Vegas, Amsterdam, London, Sydney, and Singapore.

We’re seeking an exceptional junior marketer to join our dream team and help us achieve our ambitious 2024 growth plans and beyond.

In this role you will..

  • Own the whole thing: Own the execution of new launches from data build and acquisition through to conversion, across the event product portfolio (in-person summits, virtual festivals, and more)

  • Become a multi-channel expert: Build and execute compelling multi-channel marketing programs that achieve targeted delegate registrations and revenue across our global events portfolios.

  • Create Momentum: create engaging/persuasive copy and own the delivery of email, social media, media partnerships, etc. Run affiliate marketing campaigns through speakers, sponsors, media partners and associations to drive targeted attendance and revenue.

  • Know Performance: Measure and analyze campaign performance (pre, during, and post-event) to proactively recommend where opportunities for further optimization and growth exist.

  • Collaborate Cross-functionally: Establish yourself as a core member of the events marketing engine, and ensure knowledge is shared and retained. Work closely with talented event production, sponsorship sales, community marketing, content, and engineering professionals to ensure priorities are aligned and execution plans are on track.

If the below sounds like you – we’d love to hear from you:

  • You want ownership in your role from the beginning and ready to level up. Confidence to experiment with different tactics, shake up strategy, adapt to new trends, to incorporate business changes, or to bounce back from subpar results

  • You’re passionate about using and understanding the data behind WHY things happen and use this to shape your campaigns

  • You take pride in crafting effective and engaging copy whatever the platform

  • You are naturally self-directed, operate at a high cadence, and get stuff done

  • You expertly balance and prioritize your daily to-do’s, as well as your short-term and long-term planning

  • You are an extraordinary teammate always willing to jump in and offer support and say “yes” to taking on new things

  • Experience with Asana or project management tools a plus (desirable)

  • Experience using ESPs & CRMs, and basic Google Analytics understanding (desirable)
