Customer Solutions Manager – DACH

We’re looking to add a Customer Solutions Manager to our Revenue team. This new team member will be instrumental in growing our business internationally as we continue to make the retail world a better, more sustainable place.


At Nextail, we empower retailers to create better experiences while using fewer of the world’s resources. The cloud-based platform uses artificial intelligence, prescriptive analytics, and optimization to deliver agile merchandising decisions. To date, we’re backed by more than $12M in funding from leading venture capital investors and are working with global retailers like Versace, River Island, and Pepe Jeans.


This is a critical and versatile role that implements product strategy from the very first engagement with retailers. Using your expertise in how the Nextail product functions across different types of retailers, you will lead the conversations around Nextail’s value and its different use cases with Merchandisers all the way to C-Level executives. In your discussions with retailers, you will solve product functionality gaps by suggesting best practices and identifying new product development opportunities to continue to drive Nextail’s growth.


By collaborating with different Revenue team members, you will gain a wide breadth of retail knowledge across different geographies and verticals, becoming the product and retail expert in the company.


The Customer Solutions Manager will work very closely with our team of Business Development Managers but will also coordinate multidisciplinary teams, particularly Customer Onboarding and Product, to drive Nextail’s growth. This is an opportunity to take on a new challenge, be innovative and contribute to the success of this recently formed and now expanding function.


You will be:


  • The product and retail expert, leading conversations around the value and best practices of Nextail.

  • Driving the beginnings of change management at retailers, helping them to understand the new ways of merchandising.

  • Identifying and assessing product functionality gaps and working across the company to align on solutions.

  • 3-5 years experience

  • Experience with allocation and replenishment processes at a retailer is required (experience using Nextail is a huge plus!)

  • Extraordinary communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts and articulate the value of Nextail in a concise and compelling manner

  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in multidisciplinary teams

  • Strong commercial acumen and a passion for solving customer challenges

  • A go-getter attitude and entrepreneurial mindset

  • Native level of German and proficient level of English. Additional language (professional level) a plus
