This is a full-time, remote position ideal for a hands-on, results-driven Communications Manager with a strong passion for building brands through high-quality content. The role requires at least 7 years of experience in writing compelling copy across various formats, including advertisements, landing pages, and video scripts. A background in English, along with proficiency in SEO writing, research, and content tools for both website and YouTube, is essential. While healthcare content experience is a plus, it is not a requirement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Content Creation: Write engaging and clear content for various platforms, including websites, blog posts, landing pages, video scripts, press releases, newsletters, decks, and more.
- SEO Writing: Utilize SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and meta tag creation to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
- Copywriting: Write persuasive copy for direct-to-consumer (DTC) and business-to-business (B2B) audiences, with a focus on driving conversions.
- Video Scripts: Create scripts for video content that align with marketing goals and resonate with the target audience.
- Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough research to ensure the content is accurate, relevant, and up-to-date. Utilize research tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and others for content and SEO strategy.
- Stay Current with Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest content and SEO trends, applying these insights to content development and optimization strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align content with overall strategy and messaging for various campaigns.
- Content Strategy: Assist in developing and executing content strategies that align with company objectives and audience needs.
- Editing & Proofreading: Ensure all content is free of grammatical errors, meets style guidelines, and aligns with brand voice.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in English or Journalism.
- 7+ years of professional content writing experience (healthcare experience is a plus).
- Proven expertise in copywriting for digital platforms, including landing pages, paid ads, newsletters, and other DTC/B2B materials.
- Strong knowledge of SEO writing techniques and tools, including keyword research and content optimization.
- Proficient with Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other SEO tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor content to diverse audiences.
- Strong research skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, readable content.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with YouTube content optimization and video scriptwriting.
- Must understand that we operate in a highly regulated industry; all content must comply with applicable industry standards, including legal, regulatory, and brand guidelines.
