Position Overview:

As the Affiliate Partnerships Manager at Apollo, you’ll play a crucial role within the early partnerships team. Your primary focus will involve expanding the affiliate partner network through the recruitment of new partners, overseeing partner relations, activating partners, and facilitating their enablement. We anticipate that you will be exceptionally self-motivated, driven by data, adept at navigating a rapid and dynamic entrepreneurial environment, and possess a resolute commitment to the success of both Apollo and its partners.

Responsibilities:
  • Become an early member of Apollo’s Partnerships team (which is currently a three-person team)
  • Report directly to the Director of Partnerships
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Customer Support, and Revenue Operations teams
  • Partner with the Sales team in coordinating and closing partner-driven opportunities to ensure we meet and exceed monthly targets
  • Identify and onboard affiliate partners that align with Apollo’s target audience and business objectives
  • Provide support and training to affiliate partners to help them succeed in promoting Apollo
  • Provide affiliates with the necessary tools, resources, and support to drive traffic and sales
  • Optimize commission structures, incentives, and promotional strategies to maximize affiliate engagement and effectiveness
  • Perform regular audits of partner base to identify growth and activation opportunities
  • Problem solving mentality leveraging internal and external resources, conflict resolutions and follow through with partners
  • Responsible for guiding partners through established best practices by demonstrating an understanding of the needs of their audience, identifying any risks to partners, and acting as an advocate on their behalf within Apollo
  • Planning marketing activities and digital events with partners via webinars, audience specific initiatives, social and digital marketing campaigns
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in a partnerships role (experience working in SaaS partnerships is a plus)
  • Must have experience building and managing an affiliate partner program
  • Must have experience using PartnerStack or other Partner Relationship Management (PRM) tools
  • Expertise in, or ability to quickly learn, tools such as Salesforce
  • An active relationship builder who can collaborate effectively with internal and external teams
  • Experience in driving channel partnership growth
  • Blended “hunter/farmer” mindset with the ability to cultivate partner referral opportunities while also cultivating long-term partner relationships
  • Ability to think strategically and roll up your sleeves to get things done
  • A track record of developing and growing strategic partnerships at the executive level as well as high-volume partnerships
  • Strong ability to interact and influence effectively with C-level executives and team members
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully building, testing, and managing enterprise level partnerships
  • Possess the vision, experience, and confidence to identify and drive impactful strategic partner opportunities that help both Apollo and its partners maximize their revenue opportunities
  • High energy with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently
  • Ability to negotiate
  • Must be a resident of the United States or Canada
